About Howard Ashkinos

Life is not a race… Find Joy in the Journey

Buying or selling of a home has been said to be the single largest investment a person will make in their lives and it’s not uncommon for stress and uncertainty to wreak havoc with their emotions. Howard Ashkinos has a great passion to comfort and reassure people that there is no obstacle too big that can’t be overcome. This mindset comes from Howard’s diverse background and his natural love for people. He is a consummate coach and wants to see everyone grow in all circumstances.

Growing up in the southwest part of Ft Worth, Howard fell in love with the small town friendly feel that Ft Worth offered. After High School graduation he decided to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and moved back to his birth place of New York City. Howard pursued a film career in production while in New York City from 1988-1992. The entrepreneur in him was constant and in 1992 he returned to Texas to start a magazine publication called The Insider. Soon after, Howard opened a small coffee shop across from TCU and enjoyed serving the community with a smile and great cup of coffee. It was in 1993 that Howard met the love of his life Shannon. Throughout his life, Howard spent most of his free time coaching young athletes in sports with baseball being his greatest passion. Howard began his real estate career in 1996 and has been serving his clients ever since with an open heart to help each client realize the dream of home ownership. Howard served as a board of director for multiple terms at the Greater Ft. Worth Association of Realtors and is also a Texas Real Estate Leadership graduate (TRLP).What’s most important in Howard’s life are his relationships with his wife Shannon and their three children. He credits his amazing journey to God whom which all things are possible. With a passion for people and a never ending desire towards personal growth, Howard graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Tarleton State University in 2014.
